My world

Posted on October 11, 2019October 23, 2021
Image from my studio taken 10/10/2019

This past week I have submerged myself into 35mm film photography as I start a new project. As I went to load some film I realized that the top of my flat files says so much about who I am. The objects I’ve accumulated are an external representation of my internal mind and my personal identity.

The cameras express my career and passion and the African mask in the background expresses my desire to be creative. The three rolls of tape could also represent my willingness to stick to something for over 30 years!

I found great satisfaction in photographing this candid scene from my studio. It really represents a lot of what is important to me.
