How will you remember…
Because life is short, the portraits we make together are an important part of the legacy we leave behind.
From birth to death there are milestones in every life that are worth preserving and cherishing in a way that only a photograph can. As our memories fade, photographs become important for the way they retain the precious details of an expression, gesture, and the essence of a person’s spirit.
I want to help you create artwork that celebrates your milestones in the most beautiful and authentic way possible. I want to help you remember what is important to you.
I am passionate about helping people create a portrait that defines a moment within their life. In each portrait session I try to draw out the unique quality of their essence and to use my camera to describe it eloquently in a manner that will live beyond their lifetime.

“There I was alone in the apartment where she had died, looking at these pictures of my mother, one by one, under the lamp, gradually moving back in time with her, looking for the truth of the face I had loved. And I found it.”

Ira’s photography is amazing! He has a real gift for drawing out and enhancing your best features. The quality of light is also what makes his photography stand out from the crowds. I love my images.
He was very easy to work with. Upon meeting him I felt like old friends. You will enjoy every interaction. I can’t imagine a better experience. I will hire him again.

Thank you, Ira for such lovely Senior portraits of my son. You did a fantastic job. You took your time to get just the right photo at the right light and exposure. I will be forever grateful! I will certainly have you do my younger son’s Senior portraits when the time comes.

Ira recently took my portrait to renew my publicity photos. They came out fantastically well, no doubt due the combination his detailed lighting, fantastic framing and his interest in knowing his subject. Ira told me he had heard me in concert and wanted to project what he saw, and I was totally flattered!
Friends and followers say the images completely represent my sound. I couldn’t be more pleased with the results!!
