Ski Season

A skier rides the chairlift at Mount Spokane. December, 2007

When my son was young I would take him up to Mt. Spokane for snowboarding lessons. He would do baseball in the spring and summer, football in the fall, but we would keep winter for the two of us to enjoy a recreational activity that we could continue to do together into his adulthood. When he was in high school and a member of a boy scout troop we would take lots of ski trips in the winter time to different resorts. It is my favorite way to spend time with him. This image was made just as the sun broke through the clouds near the top of Chair 2.
