Midwinter Night

One man’s suffering is another’s joy. Saturday I went for a motorcycle ride in 25 degree weather with a couple of friends. Overcoming the cold and black ice on the highway turned a ride that would be easy under normal circumstances into an adventure. To celebrate our safe return home we held a bonfire and howled at the moon.
