Raising money for an arts nonprofit

Posted on October 28, 2019February 11, 2023

For the next two months I am doing fundraiser work with the Richmond Art Collective. I will be donating 30% of all artwork sales to the Richmond Art Collective throughout the months of November and December. Each artwork sold will support one artist studio space for one month. Right now we have 8 artist members that need your support.

The Richmond Art Collective Mission

The RAC’s mission is to keep artists working in downtown Spokane by providing affordable studio space and gallery representation. I believe that the mission of the RAC is vitally important right now as Spokane is experiencing population growth and increased property prices. Cities like Seattle and San Francisco are losing their artist studios in their downtown core because there isn’t enough affordable studio spaces in those downtown areas due to high rent prices. An urban scene without art is unimaginable and something that I want to insure doesn’t happen in Spokane. Please help me support this wonderful organization!

A Dream of Desire and Hope (2019) is a platinum-palladium print that I donated to the Richmond Art Collective for a raffle at their October open studio potluck. Tickets were only $10 and we raised over $400 dollars which is enough to support one artist studio for almost two months!
