Winter Palouse Desert

Posted on December 14, 2017

I have a photographer friend who likes to take me along on adventures around the Palouse at different times of year. We were driving along in the middle of nowhere on a cold January morning when we came to an opening where the sun shined above a puffy layer of clouds. It made me think of a desert and the three wise men story. It was freezing cold and I was so grateful than he had kept the engine running and waited for me while I photographed this beautiful scene.
