Zermatt

A man stares at the Matterhorn from just above the Gornergrat train station.

 

I photographed this man because the drip from his nose communicated just how cold it was to be at this altitude in the Swiss Alps. We were just above 10,000 feet on a clear and windy day. The Monte Rosa glacier is in the background.
