On March 26th, we arrived at Reid Harbor and paddled the Dinghy ashore on Stuart Island. At exactly 4:59 pm I saw these plants growing out of the grate that connected the dock to the hillside above and made this photograph.
The squares reminded me of the seed starters Sarah and I use at home to start our garden. We didn’t have time plant seeds this year with the home remodel project underway.
Looking at this little set of compartments that were brimming with life I thought of a larger garden that is nature. Life is so abundant and resilient.
Thank God for that.
