Frozen Heart

Yesterday Google reminded me of a photo I made in April 5 years ago. I was immediately struck by the red heart shape of the lily pad. It also reminded me how fickle spring weather can be because my pond had a thin layer of surface ice that added a beautiful texture to the image. I haven’t ever really done anything with this image but I think it might be worth revisiting soon.
