Kansha

Kansha is a Japanese word that means gratitude. These fine art black and white photographs highlight the beauty found everyday all around us and are a gentle reminder to take a moment to breath and contemplate the gifts that nature bestows. Most of the images in this collection were made in the back yard, on the daily commute to work, or during walks in parks and nearby forests.

These images emphasize the design elements found in nature with an emphasis on depth and a balance of tonalities.
