This morning I have been playing with an image of Zinnia flowers taken on my cell phone last year at Manito Park’s Duncan Gardens.

I am continuing to experiment with adding texture layers and today I found myself letting the texture modify the color and then adding an hue saturation adjustment that as I moved the slider I found it to be an interesting animation. I selected a few color variations to create this slideshow with.

I think I was channeling my inner Van Gogh. I really loved his use of color. The effect is to create a psychedelic experience that reminded me of a paisley tie I once had.

Peace,

Ira
